Tacoma Santa Parade

On Sunday, December 3, 2023, six blocks of South Tacoma Way will be transformed for the 10th annual Tacoma Santa Parade. ARES will be teaming up with Home With K Isaacson, and Theory Real Estate to help with the festivities. Santa, the elves, and other holiday creatures invite you to bring your friends and family down to South Tacoma Way between 50th and 56th.

South Tacoma Way Santa Parade - Events


According to Tacoma Weekly, "The day begins at noon with music and performances then the parade starts at 4:30. Former on-field announcer for the Tacoma Rainiers and community powerhouse Casey Catherwood will be the parade host and announcer at 54th Street and South Tacoma Way." The parade will feature nearly 30 exhibitors including, AMVETS Post 1, Clan Gordon Pipe Band, Dockyard Derby Dames, Foss High School Strolling Band and Air Force Junior ROTC, Life Christian Academy Drum Line, Pierce Transit, Santa for Seniors (Lutheran Community Services Northwest), Spanaway Lakes High School Cheer, Daffodil Festival, Washington State Scottish Terrier Club, and MANY MORE.

In addition to Santa making an appearance on South Tacoma Way, there will be plenty of food, merchandise, and community vendors. The food vendors for the 10th Annual Tacoma Santa Parade include Pasteles Finos Del Angel, Cay Sal Pies, La Cocina, South 2 West Boiled Peanuts, Chaotic Eats, Uncle Mikes Filipino Comfort Foods, Curbside Coffee, Wandering Cowgirl Coffee, Hood Canal Free Dry, Old Red Barn Popping Co., Cookie Dough Delight, Big Dawgs Hot Dogs, Hobo's BBQ, Fat Zach's Wood Fired Pizza, Dirtyz, and MORE.

For those who have been following the community efforts of ARES, we will be announcing the winners and results of The 4th Annual DYOJO Podcast SOCKTember community event to raise NEW socks for local charitable organizations. During the month of September, our construction partners, remodeling clients, and insurance claims vendors helped us raise a RECORD number of socks in 2023.
