Our Services
Giving You Back Your Home
Our team members have over 40 years of combined experience working in the construction industry and with the nuances of insurance claims repairs. Our goal is to assist you with the process of restoring your home. As it relates to the responsibility of the insurance company, once coverage is confirmed (Read more about this topic from the ARES Blog) the next steps are to confirm the agreed-upon scope and initial cost of work so that repairs can be scheduled. We believe that it is important for all parties in an insurance claim to follow what we call The Standard, “To restore your home to resemble pre-loss conditions with materials of like kind and quality; no more and no less.” ARES has been successfully assisting home and business owners in Pierce, North Thurston, and South King counties to “Get Their Home Back” and we would love the opportunity to assist you with your restoration project.
The insurance process includes a few key factors:
-
Thorough data capture – ARES will assist you to thoroughly document the damages to your home or business so that we can present an accurate scope of work to your insurance company.
-
Documentation – We use state of the art tools including 360-degree capture, labeled photos, video walk throughs, scope notations, and detailed estimates to support our repair strategy.
-
Accurate data input – It is common for insurance companies to utilize an estimating program called Xactimate, our team is skilled in using this tool as a “common language” for the repairs process.
-
Communication – Our primary responsibility is to you as our customer, we work with you and your insurance company to create as seamless a process as we are all able to conduct together.
If you would like to make changes or upgrades to your home during this process, we are able to assist with that as well. ARES is a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor based in Puyallup, Washington. During the course of water and fire damage insurance claim repairs there may be additional damages discovered or supplements to the materials and labor for various scopes of work (common for flooring, cabinets, counters, etc.). We will work with your insurance company to document and update any pricing that they would be responsible for. We will work with you directly on those items where you may decide to pay for additional work. Our goal is to make sure that the process, responsibilities, and expenses are clear for all parties.
